Every second counts in an emergency. That is why it is important to know exactly where medications are stored in a crash cart. Promptly locating the right medicine might save a life!
In this interactive, you will have an opportunity to explore the contents of a standard crash cart. The one provided is modeled after the carts located in Memorial Hospital emergency rooms in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Cart set-ups vary, so it is important to be very familiar with the crash cart at your work site.
The interactive also provides basic information about heart rhythms, including an overview of cardiac physiology and an introduction to the diagnosis and treatment of 16 common irregular heart rhythms. Quizzes are included to help you check your knowledge. Scores are not recorded.
For best results, we recommend viewing the interactive in Chrome. Performance varies with other browsers.
